My car is set to arrive in NJ this Tuesday Oct 7, 2014.

From there it goes through customs which I was told can take anywhere from 1 day to a few days. The guy at BMWNA told me that then it gets loaded on a truck (or train) most likely a truck for me and then sent to my dealer.

He told me by middle to end of October I should have it but I just find it hard to believe that it can take another 2 weeks for a truck to pick it up in NJ and bring it to LI NY it's literally an hour to an hour and half drive at the most. I know that car haulers are always available and ready and waiting to pick up the cars.

I was just wondering how long it took you guys who already got your cars to get it from the day it arrived at the port until the dealer called saying it was ready?

It took mine one day from getting off the ship and then was at the dealership the next day. I am maybe 30 minutes from the Port of Baltimore and I've client's cars take 2 weeks to show up here. Eventhough trucks may be available, they don't leave until they are filled. I always say 10-14 days after arriving at the port

Thanks. I'm figuring the long wait of 2 weeks nut hoping for sooner. At least it'll be in the US come Tuesday

My car arrived at Brunswick port on September 23rd and I took delivery of it on October 1st.
I believe you will get it in less than 2 weeks.
