Call to cancel the subscription, they will offer you deals. That's what I did, when I called to cancel, I told them it just wasn't justifiable at that price, I got it for like $27 for 6 months.

But you need to actually call them to cancel it, and be prepared to follow through, you might go a few days without satellite radio, but they will inevitably email or call you with deals to get you back. They aren't exactly swimming in money these days, so they will take anything they can haha.

Wouldn't you love to see a profile of who is paying how much for that service? Like an airline flight's, it must be all over the map.

From the article I referred to earlier, published in The Motley Fool on 8/29/18:

"Sirius XM will generate roughly $1.5 billion in free cash flow and adjusted EBITDA of at least $2.15 billion this year."

From Sirius' point of view, and the markets', they are, if not swimming in money, likely drowning in it. Compared to the not-so-distant past, that is.

Just got the car and went for extra six months at $10 a month. I thought (maybe wrong) they'd trounce you after sub was up. Anyway, that's next to nothing for now.

I just call up every 5 months. I tell them that I am thinking about cancelling because its not my DD and they give me a deal for $25/5 months total.
