Akrapovic Downpipe

Has anyone here successfully installed the akrapovic downpipe without getting CEL? Im in the market, ill be pairing it with dinan midpipe and mpe exhaust. I already love how the car sounds but im looking for that extra power the dp will provide.

I use a fab speed sport cat - no issues so far - fingers crossed no CEL yet!

Well today I pulled the trigger and ordered the akrapovic dp from @mike@x-ph.com
Can’t wait until it arrives, I’m really looking forward to see how well it pairs up with the mpe and dinan mid pipe. I’ll post videos once installed.

That's going to be loud AF with your current setup. I have the ER catless DP and have been running it for 1300 miles and no CEL with this defouler.

I’ll keep everyone posted. I hope I don’t need the o2 sensor ext but who knows.
I’m excited to see what power gains I may get.

That looks gorgeous (and it should for the money). Forgot that one had a cat. You may be ok without a defouler.

By placing the second O2 sensor further out of the exhaust stream, it fools it into thinking there’s still a cat in place.

yeah the driving videos sound really good. I wonder how much tamer it would be with the stock mid pipe.

Thanks and yes I would assume so since there are two inline resonators to tone things down a bit...my wife wishes I still had the stock mid pipe
