Factory service manual?
Does any know if the factory service manual is available for the M235i? I had a PDF version for my previous car and it was very useful.

You can purchase www.bmwtechinfo.com for a day or more. And download as many instructions as you want.

Bavarian auto sport has manuals. I don't think they have one out yet for the m235 but I would imagine they would have one by the time the maintenance plan expires. I would think any model with the n55 would be similar for engine repairs and a 135 manual would be similar as well

I like the Bentley manual. It will take a bit for it to come out .

As I recall they don't recommend you use the service for programming because the software is apparently too dependent on the network connection during the potentially lengthy programming process, but I know for a fact that it works since my dealer wound up using the service for a short time when their own diagnostic hardware was on the fritz.

I found this link to an online service and repair manual for BMWs and others. I personally haven't tried it out yet (waiting until it's needed). Here is the link, if anyone tries this out before I need it could you post if it's what you're looking for and how well it works.

Per some US law, BMW must sell shop manuals to consumers. They would probably do what Porsche does, break each manual into component parts and sell the component parts for an outrageous amount. Porsche broke the Boxster manual into about 20 parts, and charged $50 for each part - the cost of the 2007 Boxster shop manual was in excess of $1k. There may be bootleg copies out there, but I've never looked.

Hi all, I know this is an old thread but I am still waiting for the Bentley Publishing service manual for the f22. I called them last year and they said it would be available in the spring of 2018. I’ve attempted to call them a few time over the last few months and I can not get any answer.
Seriously contemplating buying the f30 manual. It has the same N20 engine so it can’t be that far off. Comments anyone? |
