The premium is a must have to me - the dimming mirrors make all the difference in the world when you have SUVs behind you at night.

I wish we could get the cloth seats here, and that the mirrors were a stand alone option...the premium was only $1400 on my current 135 - BMW were running some "value" adds for free when I got my second E82, and that $1000 difference on the M235 sucks.

Oh well, gotta pay to have it first I guess....

Premium is a definite must.

I agree on the cloth seats, but you never know, it become available at a later point. I don't see the painted mirrors sticking around past the LCI either.

Lumbar support is standard on m235i, you don't need prem package for it.

Correct, no LSD. It's BMW Performance upgrade though.

Lumbar support isn't standard in uk on leather sports seats.

Did anyone see if this car came with the "Seat Belt Assistant"? You know the arm that extends the seat belt closer to the driver... Anyone know if this car comes with it. I didn't get to drive one yet so I didn't notices it.

Thank God - I had it in two of my E92s and it was more of a hassle than anything.

I think the take away is if you want a focused and specialized 2 series wait for the m2, or if you are ready for the next level now buy a porsche.

What do you think about the rear? I feel like the front is gorgeous, but the back is just baby looking. Idk. I expected something sleeker looking, rather than large, tall tail lights.

I would be more apt to say feminine over baby looking. Speaking from a broad perspective, I see similar attributes to the general roundness of the rear to the M4.

Congratulations on the new ride! Thanks for the write-up.

Is there any way to measure the oil temperature and/or coolant temperature?

I've been dying to find that out.
