I wonder how solid it is ... going to act like a snow plow in the winter time. Not sure I'm going to floor it to go through snow banks like I used to ...

Do you have any pictures of your car with the splitter? There aren't too many MG with the splitters installed. I would greatly appreciate it!

the reason I opted out of installing it. it is gorgeous, but I fugured that driving the car with such thing installed will be a pain in a butt.

Not one month with the car and the splitter got damaged today. I've been so careful, and today was no different. Was pulling out of a Guitar Center parking lot extremely slowly. Its the 'pitch' of driveways, where they meet the street, that's fatal. About 2 feet of damage on the edges of the two bottom lips right in the center. The material its made of is a very soft composite that has an ugly gray color when exposed. Since its not painted, not sure how a body shop is going to fix the damage. I love the look but I have a feeling it's not the last time this is going to happen.

Did anyone here fit their front splitter? Im curious as I need to remove mine to get it fixed and painted. Would rather just drop the part off instead of the car. Thanks for any help.

You need to put 3m tape again or if you want just plasti dip the spliter. Bec for sure you will damage it again its easy to retouch it with plasti dip

Approximately how many screws are in the bottom portion of the splitter? I'm not really sure what parts are stock and which are the MP splitter as my splitter was fitted from the dealer (and was not painted). Is the MP splitter 2 pieces as in exploded drawing below (fig 1)? Thanks for the help.

Did you paint it from the dealer? Or its oem matte black? Mine is one piece just plasti dip the whole thing. I thinks its 6 screws 4 in the middle and 1 both ends.

This picture is great, as I just wanted to see what it looked like off the car. It was never painted, it's just matte black.

I might have an aluminum fabricator make me a piece that covers the center section of the bottom two lips. Something that can be removed easily and resprayed if it ever gets damaged. I also thought of doing raw carbon fiber sheets in the same area. Though a body shop guy said it would just crack.

Thanks again for the image.

Did anyone else's splitter come with two like vinyl transfer stickers? No idea what they are for... I know the cord like stuff is for the painter to mask stuff but can't figure out what the 3m vinyl things are for...
