Who is running wheels?

I've been doing a little research into this so far and it seems like no f*cking wheels fit this car! Who's done them yet (besides m performance ones of course) what are you running/specs/pics etc. it seems like the ones that will fit i could get from schwinn.......

Something like this would fit (these are sold, but it's an example).

I'm running wheels on my M235i - the ones that came with the car. And they seem to work real well.

Like the little kid said to his teacher in grammar school:

"Golly Mr. Science, if wasn't for the wheel, my dad would have to drag his car to work!"

In this picture, I believe the customer is running 15mm spacer (R) and 5mm spacer (F)

Hmm, I would be surprised if that's the case as that would result in +22mm over the stock rear wheels and it certainly doesn't look like that. +15mm already is close to sticking out, +22mm would be really obviously. My guess would have been that they are +5mm - +10mm vs stock, and with a 18x8 +45 wheel, that's +7mm over stock which looks about right with the pictures.

That makes more sense. So it's effectively like having stocks at with 12mm spacers on the rear, looks great!

With what width wheel? Anything over an 8" wide on the front and back is going to look weird with that offset. Even with 8", it would be like having 17mm spacers on the rear which could look odd if they aren't at least 19s and you car isn't lowered.

^ yep. my wheel has similar offset (i think 40) and exact width. i even added 5mm spacer to the front on top of lowering on KW v3 and it definitely don't look weird.

actually i think you might be pushing it with 35 because mine sits perfectly flush right now and I think offset might even be a 42. But if anything, just stretch tires and go 225/35 and 245/35

I think it would be pushing it but personal taste I guess.

With 19x8.5 wheels ET35 wheels all around, it would like having 22.7mm spacers on the front and 23.35mm spacers on the rear with stock wheels.. Way too aggressive for my taste, they WILL stick out past the fender.

This looks great! Now we just need offerings with staggered size rims to get the same sidewall profile from staggered tires. It gives me a headache trying to figure out offsets for what will/won't fit and still look good. Something in 18x8 and 18x9 or 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 with this look would be just about perfect. Maybe bump it to 19 with a slightly stretched tire look, but the beefy sidewall from an 18 looks really good on the 2 so I am leaning that way.
