Xdrive + Springs + Wheel Spacers + Factory Wheels.
Interested in seeing someone with X-drive, Springs and that have spacers on the Factory wheels.
I installed my springs myself today and really enjoy the new height. I am and was planning on buying spacers but didn't pull the trigger until i seen the drop for myself. I've seen people run 12/15mm. But i feel like 15 in the rear would rub the fender over any decent size bumps on the road.. If anyone has pics and insight i would be very grateful |

What springs did you install? How difficult was the install? Is there a negative camber effect after the spring install? Would you need a Ground control kit to correct?
I've considered lowering as I have done that in my past (civics-lol) but experienced premature camber wear on tires so I'm kind of deciding if its worth it?

I put in Dinan Springs with the Ride Quality control kit.
I am probally not the best person to ask as for DIY install on this kit mainly because i am a licensed BMW technician, so i have a nice hoist and all the special tools lol. I have not driven the car enough to notice any excessive wear on the front tires but i doubt there will be much. The Dinan Springs come with alignment specs which is nice, so i just punch the new specs into the machine when i did my alignment then did all the adjustments. The ride control kit is just smaller Bump stops. |

If there are enough requests/demand for it, im sure dinan would consider making a kit, considering there is a rwd but no xdrive option on the springs, but yet they have a koni shock option as well which is a nice touch on the 228.

I honestly like the wheel gap to be reduced but ultimately don't want to sacrifice anything to the car except for drive height. I would most likely just install springs to lower and call it a day but worry about the unnecessary wear on the tires. It's good to know the factory shocks can handle it well with the bump stop.

Any ideas on wheel spacers?
This is how the car is sitting as of right now. Un-sure of 15mm all around will have to much poke or not. And if any rubbing on full travel |

I recently lowered mine by 1 1/2 inches rear, 1 inch front with coilovers and was still able to get it aligned to factory specs, without any alignment kits.

I ran 10/12.5 spacers from ECS with H&R springs. After installing them they seemed a bit conservative and might have ran 12.5/15 instead.
