I am not trying to start any debate between coupe and convertible drivers...
BUT, it was nice March day of 75 degrees today, and i got 4 top down drives in... I know from personal experience that a lot of people considering buying this car lurk on this forum. this is a fun convertible. a lot of fun. i have had a convertible before. (an audi 1.8 A4) this car is different ... in a good way. if you are on the fence about a coupe or convertible or, more specifically, if you have already decided on a convertible, you can do no better than an M235i |

4 side windows down are so much better its ridiculous. Moonroof's are old-school and take away a ton of headroom. And when the weather is great you can drop the 4 layer top on the fly. |

Yeah finally top down weather here in NY. My head started getting cold...and then I remembered my hat fell under the seat. #problemsolving
You actually get to enjoy the true exhaust note with the top down, for whatever chassis flex and squeaks exist from time to time I'll take it for the days when the sun comes out. Even DD'ing in winter wasn't bad, the top is very well insulated and with the cold weather pack everything toasts up quickly.

First of 2016
Yep!
Yesterday was the first top down day of 2016, it was 72 degrees here in New Hampshire (during the drive home). Top down, cigar lit and back roads, what else could a vert owner ask for AFM |

Yep!
Mine just turned 1 month old and yesterday was warm enough to have the top down in the UK. It was nice.

I've had mine for 9 months and been enjoying the top down. The first 3 months of ownership it was winter but with it's heated seats and wind brake installed it was nice and warm.

I am looking to replace my E93 335 with an M235. I would like the vert and I know it has more space than my current ride does.
However it is more noisy and less secure than a coupe. It all depends on what is important to you. It is almost 80 out right now and I just washed and did a minor detail to the E93. I wan the M235 because the E93 is just too big and heavy. I loved my M3's and regret not keeping my sedan as it was perfect. I think the M235 is much closer to that ride and suits me better. Doesn't hurt that they look great too... Coupe has advantages too just depends on what you want!!! |
