Vintage BMW Shift Knob on a 2er?
Hi, just a quick question. The first car I ever learned to drive on (my Dad's) was a '74 2002tii and I was wondering if anyone makes a vintage shift knob like that early one that will fit on our cars? Or has anyone modified one? Before anyone goes nuts on me, I just think it would be a cool throw back since this is my first BMW in 25 years of owning cars and I want to pay homage to that little tii.

I'm pretty sure they are all interchangeable going waaaay back. If it is held on with a snap ring it should work on a modern BMW too.

Interesting. They have used the snap ring type back to the early 80s. You can certainly get the OP's pictured knob in that style. But a Bavaria goes back another decade.
