PTS2 to gain full potential of the turbo you also have to include fuel upgrades like PI or TBI, lpfp and probably hpfp. Correct me if I'm wrong in how to maximize your PTS2. At least with the Steam turbo a nice tune will get you 90 extra horses across the rpm range on otherwise stock hardware.
Ps2 will make more power with pump gas and FBO than the steam. Then PS2 can easily grow as you do more mods.

No argument that Pure is amazing product from all the reviews out there. I just can't help but noticed that even the Steam "Stage 2" which is their 67mm wheel can produce up to 500 hp for 1500 dollars. PTS2 is 2500 plus 775 core trade and that not including install hardware or labor. At the end of it you could be looking at 4-5000 dollar upgrade. Let's just say you're able to pull it off for 4 grand including labor and the goal is to be content with 420rwhp. And this is assuming you already have a tune. In my F10 N55 dyno is roughly 320rwhp with a tune. So a gain of a 100 rwhp breaks down to 40 bucks a horsey. Going to 500whp is a different budget.

Pro: At the same hp goals the Steam is 15 bucks a horsey.
Con: No one knows if Steam is reliable for N55s

These are all rough estimates of course, but I think that far off.

Pure is a more complete turbo/manifold swap. That's probably where the price difference comes in. It appears PS2 also has more HP potential than Steam S2.
