To those who leased and installed a aftermarket exhaust

I recently installed my exhaust and was wondering if you guys kept the oem as one piece or did you opt to cut it for easy storage. It's taking up a crap load of room in my garage and I'm thinking of cutting it in half and just doing flanges when I have to turn it back in.

It probably would not matter but since your car is lease i would keep it one piece

I would hate for BMW to charge you for an OE new exhaust after they find out the stock one has been tampered with (highly unlikely but you never know)

Agree with Mike, probably not an issue but you don't want to find out the hard way.

Just cut it where they would normally cut it for the m performance exhaust! Worst case if the dealer says anything just tell them you had the m-performance exhaust.
