428i is $41,425 including destination fee. So $8,400 difference. Makes the 228i even more of a deal.

435i with M-sport starts at $50,575 with destination fee.

So difference of $6,550. Apples to apples comparison. (even then the M235i has more standard features like $650 Msport brakes )

You could also factor in the M235i has more hp/tq. Adding additional cost for PPK on the 435i.

If BMW continues to weld the ring gear to the open diff, then the M LSD will not be a cheap option. My guess is that they will use a final drive with a bolted ring gear in order to make this happen. at the price point, bmw has a definite winner here - it has everything my f30 has, but standard options, lighter, much cheaper - interior quality seems very similar also...

I do like the front end...however the e82 rear stance is more aggressive.

And for some strange reason I see too much audi - the diff colored mirrors and some of the side angles look s5 like.
