Performance Center Delivery of Red on Red
First, thanks to Adrian of BMW of South Atlanta for being a standup guy on all fronts. He committed to getting me the first week production of the 2015's M235i's and he was true to his word. He gave me a great price and came through for me. Second, thanks to all the folks at the Performance Center for making it a great day. A day to be remembered for sure! Picked up a great car and had a great father-daughter experience!
On Thursday, I picked up a rental car and drove to the Greenville Airport to drop it off. Marriott sent over a BMW 740 to drive me to the hotel. At the hotel I met up with my daughter who had also driven in from out of town. It was an awesome experience. Seeing what these machines are capable of is just amazing. One never realizes what a car can actually do driving it as a daily driver. Once you can see what it can actually do is startling to say the least. What a great day and what a great father-daughter experience! I wanted to do something different so I went with Red on Red. It was either going to be an awesome combination or a horrible one. I think it looks awesome. In any event, I present to you Big Red. Last edited by disco4me; 09-02-2014 at 12:28 PM.. |

More pics of the awesome experience. I was also greeted with some wonderful birthday cupcakes from my daughter. Coincidentally, we were given a red on red to drive on the track. Thank goodness it wasn't mine. By the way, if someone saw the red 235i get dumped onto the grass on the turnabout, that must have been someone else!

Someone bold enough to go red-red needs to make a strong statement with some uniquely colored wheels!!
(And take more pics so I know if there is are uncommon options that might look really nice) |

Thanks all. Took a chance on red on red and glad I did. If you are sitting in the driver's seat and look around, it's a nice blend of red, black and hex. Not overwhelming in the least.

I told my SA he said he submitted my request for the PCD about 2-3 days ago. So hopefully that'll give enough time for me to get a spot. (Car finishes production on 9/4)
