When I got my Touareg I got 20% off MSRP but that was purely a facelift nothing mechanical. If I were you, assuming you are not in a rush and saving $ is more important than latest body styling, I would try and find a MY17 next fall when the MY18 LCI comes out. You'd have the updated internals but get a deal based on the older externals.

yup it's a great idea that crossed my mind. not in a rush, but i get excited for possibly getting a new car

We'll see, if I can special order a MY17 240 with the gloss black interior trim and the wheels avail in Canada I may just do that, debadge and roll stealth. Would have to be a compelling deal though.

They are quite good at +/- each year to keep you moving forward. MY17 maint/warranty not as good, engine upgrade. MY18 more $ considering really good deals will be around on pre-LCI MY17, but you get new stuff.

i was going to get a 2015 before i got my f30, but the lease deals were not worth it imo. not horrible, but not as good as they should have been. end of year deal is my best bet even though i don't want a car that small.
