They might change the engine to the B58. Chances are low but they did update the Z3M's engine midcycle.

Why is this good "news" for 1M owners? It is not really news that the M2 will be a multiyear production. It does not really affect the 1M value... that is still as rare as it was before. It does dilute the rarity of the small M though... since those wanting that experience now have other options instead of being forced to pony up for a 1M.

... and of course, the M2 is still faster on the straight and the track - that hasn't changed either

I have not. I did hear they might update software to allow on/off in all modes though, but info was shaky at best.
