so many questions I want answered!!

I noticed the N55 got updated this summer as per http://www.f30post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=866096.

I wonder, and assume, that the M235i will have this updated version of the N55?

I am also curious what was changed in the N55... (from the looks of it, just software most likely)

If you are interested in a 2 series, I would suggest to put a deposit down to secure your allocation at your dealership.

So just to clarify, this doesn't mean they will only make the m235i for one year like the 1m right? My lease isn't up for about two years and I'm thinking this may be my next car if it's still available.

M235i is a standard production car and will get a regular length life cycle.
