Hi Speuk,

I have the same setup as you : Entrynav without navigation.

1. I'm really interested in that as well, let's hope Shawn can guide us

2. Yes you can, I did it and it works like a charm. My two phones are now connected at the same time.

I have no idea on the challenges. I have yet to hear of anyone actually convert HU_ENTRY into having a functional 606 Business Nav unit.

I am not sure on Office function with this head unit. I have yet to actually see an ENTRYNAV head unit in person.

Great I will add 6NS at the weekend, my wife has the 220i MSport convertible so will give it a go . Added 6NS to my F15 last weekend with much appreciated help from Shawn!

Thanks, I'm guessing as no one has done it so far it may not be possible.

Pikachu, thank you so much for this guide. I have successfully coded everything that I wanted.

I am having one issue, however. I'm not noticing a difference in ASD sound when I code it. I have a 2016 228ix with the N26 and stock HiFi system. I have tried changing to the ASD profile to F80/S55 and also even tried F22/N55 and I have not heard a difference in anything at all. I simply changed the vehicle and engine. There were no errors in my coding either. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong or is the difference simply not supposed to be noticeable?

The f80/s55 stooped working after 55.3 or so maybe BMW got pissed at people using the m3 sound

But you should be able to at least use the F22/n55 sound

You will notice it the most in sport mode, rev up to 3krpm while stopped and switch to comfort to sport and you should easily hear the difference

Very good to know, thanks. I currently have N55 coded and I believe I noticed a difference while driving this evening but I wasn't 100% sure.

I cannot get the startup animation to change to the "M Perofmance" / Variant1 logo. It's coded in there, but still shows connected drive. Does this code just not work anymore?

some people have been saying it doesn't work for cars with the latest software

I used the latest versions of the software and my car is a 2016. I took delivery last weekend. I was able to successfully program the M boot animation. The only thing I had trouble with was F80 ASD.

I had the latest software installed a few weeks back and then re coded, the animation M logo didn't work for about a day then started working as it previously did. Very strange, but I did notice on the older software if I unlocked the car and didn't start it up for a minute of so it would bypass the animation and go directly to the starting nav system message.

Ah ok. Ya the f80 sound definitely doesn't work anymore

The setting ASP_AUSKLAPPEN_NACH_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN is stuck on nicht aktiv.

Any idea why?

Maybe you pressing Code instead of Code fdl

I do press Code FDL when I want to activate the code. But for ASP_AUSKLAPPEN_NACH_KOMFORTSCHLIESSEN, I can't select aktiv, only nicht actik is shown on the selection menu.

On a side note, I tried to activate the Variable Light distribution with the cheat sheet on Esys. It didn't work at first.
I had to get back again to the software and select only "active for F20". It was set on "active for F20 / F30" before.

there was a mapping bug not sure if it's fixed on the latest launcher

That's probably KOMBI 3000 BC_MOTORTEMP_ENABLE but it never worked.... not sure if it's any different on the latest i-step

Thanks for the quick reply :-) Don't know either but was curious if it worked would be great if it did if it was somehow possible to connect the secret menu oil temp meter with this one.

Supposedly it works by changing the color from white to red when it is warmed up.
