They look even better in person!
Thank you very much! Definitely solidifies my decision to pick up some 802's in Sunken Treasure come spring time for my mineral white 240. Looks absolutely fantastic!

I'm already in love. They ride so nice too. Definitely an upgrade over my stock 461M wheels! Thanks to Brandon at VMR for all the help!

Guys, getting very frustrated. Installed my VMR 710’s on my M240i last week. Look great etc.

Noticed over 70mph I get a vibration from the car, thought it was a improper wheel balance. Took it back to the shop, still no good. Took it elsewhere to get a wheel balance and still not good!

Do I need hub rings? I thought VMR wheels are hub centric? Wheel shop used aftermarket wheel nuts, could this be the issue. Would standard, OEM wheel nuts fit?

Help would be appreciated!

18x8.5 ET35 all around.

There could be a few different factors that cause vibration issues. It's just a matter of using a process of elimination to isolate the issue. The wheels likely would have been drilled from the factory to use your stock lugs--lets start there. Try installing the wheels using the stock (conical seat) lugs and see what happens. If you're using any spacers, take them off. The wheels SHOULD be hubcentric, so hub rings shouldn't be required. I'm assuming you ordered from Mars Performance, so they should be able to confirm whether or not your wheels are hub centric. These are the obvious and most common culprits.

If you try the previous and it doesn't work, the issue may lie with the wheels or tires. We always recommend road force balancing the tires on the wheels to decrease the likelihood of vibrations. If the issue persists, the tires will need to be removed from the wheels and the wheels will need to be checked for trueness.

There's always a reason for vibrations--it's just a matter of properly diagnosing it to isolate the issue and fix it. Take a look at the link below for a handy troublshooting guide put together by Tire Rack. I hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, wheels were ordered directly off Mars Performance. I will try the standard lugs that were fitted with the OEM wheels. Assuming they fit with no issues, I don’t know why the installer used 3rd party lugs. Will report back once that is done. Thanks!

Update on the vibration issue. Wheels are faulty, PCD holes were drilled slightly off centre and are not the OEM fit they were promised to be. In process of getting a refund. Very disappointed.

@VMRWheels I have a set of your v710ff wheels on my 2017 m240xi, 19x8.5 et35 and 19x9.5 et45. I'm running the recommended 225/35 and 255/30 tires. Wondering if it is possible to run a larger side wall without rubbing?

A larger sidewall will rub for the m240i xDrive.

what about a wider tire on this setup, i.e. 235 front, 265 rear? will that rub too?

Without having to do modifications, 225/255 is the most that I would recommend for the M240. You may have to modify camber or fenders for anything more.

'17 M240 Glacier Silver Metallic

New wheels on with stock suspension for now.

Front 8.5 19 43 offset with MP4S 235x19x35
Rear 9.5 19 45 offset with MP4S 255x19x30

Curious to see if next time could fit 265 if not lowering.

What should I do next? Thinking tint, carbon fiber mirror caps, cf diffuser and spoiler and then maybe paint matched reflectors.

Tune and Downpipe are coming.

Can you post more pictures please? Close up and far away in the light? There are very few pics with glacier silver on 19" vmr and it would definitely help!

Can someone post a square on picture of any style vmr wheel on a car but in sunken treasure and moonlit bronze? Ideally a v703 but any in those colours will do. Thanks

WoW! I'm considering to run a square setup with 235s... Does 8.5 ET 43 19 really fit plug and play without any rubbing issues in the front with 235/35/19??
In the back it should be a easz fit..right?

Here in Europe people are deeply concerned when thinking about running anything more than 225 in the front if 8.5J wheels are used...
