I'm going to follow up with the dealer this weekend or Monday, but here is excerpt from the last email I received: "So I checked on the status, and we are NOT underway with the build. We've submitted a request for an allocation, which is what was showing up. I've reached out to ####, the BMW Area Manager to help me expedite the allocation. As it shows for the moment, there are not any M240s being built for the US market at the moment. That said, #### is the man that may be able to help me get this production underway. I've involved the recently appointed new car manager as well, and we will be working with the Area manager to try and get your BMW into production." Fingers crossed. |

I actually do have an allocation (xDrive) for a week 42 build date (October 12-18) so I guess I should feel lucky. My dealer had an allocation for a RWD M240 maybe have your dealer contact Century BMW in Huntsville it might still be here?

According to my sales guy, there was an initial production run of 31 cars that went to the west coast in August, but they weren't custom orders - so some weirdness with the 2 series. He did confirm his dealership should get an allocation on 9/23 (November production), so worst case that's what i'm looking at. Meanwhile, he's looking to see if any existing orders can be altered.
UPDATE: Got my production # . Looks like it'll be an early October production date (week 41 or 42).

Nah...it's a coupe. Went to my trusty mineral grey / coral red combo.

I put down a deposit on an 230i order today. Hopefully things will go through but I think it may be February, according to my salesperson.

I put down a deposit five weeks ago on an m240i, and I'm still waiting on an allocation. I had hoped to have it around Christmas, but I'm starting to think February may not be unrealistic at this point.

I put my order in for a 240 last week of September and got my prod number last week. Reached out to my dealer today and he said tentative build week at end of Dec/1st week of Jan. I never had to put a deposit down though. Hoping it'll be a nice PCD X-mas present and not a new years deal, I think my firm is going back to in-office in Jan!

Has anybody been able to order a 2021 M240i recently? I've been told by several dealership that there are currently 0 production numbers of this model in all of NA, so they may have stopped production already

My convertible started production just before Christmas. When I ordered it a few months ago, there were only 8 convertibles coming to the US for several months. My CA had to work crazy hard to get the allocation for me. I’ve heard production usually stops around June, so hopefully a few more allocations will come up before then... if you’re not dead set on a convertible or 6MT, maybe just wait for a MY22?

Yeah unfortunately I'm very much set on the 6MT which I'm afraid will be gone by next year's model... I guess I'll wait until tomorrow to get confirmation directly from BMW themselves |

I just got an email from my dealer today (Bill Jacobs in IL) with my production #, placed order on the 22nd. So assuming that means some are still available. Also this is for a 6MT
