We could beat this topic to death, but ultimately you just have to decide what is ok for you.

And just because the car fax only shows those oil changes doesn't mean that the the previous owner didn't change his in his drive way between the free ones.

Well that's news to me....

I see that in their plan comparison table from their web site, 3 of the plans available have coverage for cars with "turbo / super chargers"...

BMW recommends intervals of about this length. There is much debate about whether shorter intervals are better, but I know of no evidence either way.
