I personally found no difference between the Dakota leather and sensatec. The leather is so heavily treated and coated it's like a synthetic product. I have the leather, can let water stand on it for 10 minutes, and nothing soaks in. I had a bmw rental in Italy last year with the sensatec. Hot or cold weather I found no difference compared to what I experience at home.

I would agree with those being excellent interior color combos with Mineeral Grey exterior...but I'd be inclined to choose the Black Sensatec for durability and $ savings aspects.

We loved the Coral Red leather in our Glacier Silver F31...it's not a real bright "lipstick" red as some photos make it seem. That'll be a great combo with Mineral Grey exterior. Congrats!

Depends how you intend to use the car.

I skipped the Premium Package, extended Nav, HK sound, heated seats, etc.

All I wanted was 6MT, moonroof delete, and some form of "real" leather (it IS a $40k+ car), so I added Dakota leather and called it a day.

No regrets as far as the options I left off. I was after the type of drive that encourages keeping my hands at 9 and 3 as much as possible while looking at screens and turning knobs as little as possible. Avoiding all those "premium" options gave me just that. I would have been willing to pay for the HK audio and the fancier LED headlamps if they were offered a la carte, but for one reason or another BMW requires the Premium Pkg first. Oh well. Plenty of money left over for BBS wheels and M Performance LSD.

The manual seats fit me fine so I did not go for the all electrics. No regrets.
