I thought this was a fluke, but it looks like it's still in effect. A 12 pack of Chemical Guys microfiber towels for $17. A 3 pack is $13, so this is a screaming deal. I bought a pack of these and they're pretty dope. Especially at just over a buck a piece.

Click on the link and then pick the 12 option.

Junkman, so what kind of a spiff are you getting for promoting their products so heavily?

The same exact thing that Meguiar's, Dodo Juice, Optimum, Windex. Formula 409, Zaino, 3D, Wagner and 3M pay me. Not a damn thing. Kinda hard to teach people how to do something and also let them know where the deals are if I don't name a source.

Now if you want to know what kind of money I make with the computer consulting firm that I own, that's a different story. That's what pays for my lifestyle.

I bought a two pack of the pluffle drying cloths on amazon. It's the 20x24, but I prefer that size. Not bad for $26 shipped.

Amazon prime two day shipping and no tax (until this year) makes it my defacto site. I spent thousands with them last year lol.

Of course they don't pay you. I asked what kind of stuff you get free from them. C'mon now A.J., just looking for full disclosure.

Idc what he gets as long as it's a good product lol. Seems legit based on the reviews. I also picked up some chemical guys microfiber towel soap. Slowly buying things before I even get the car. I hope the accountant doesn't notice.

5 pack of the eagles on amazon for $23. Free two day shipping for prime peeps. The chemical guys 12 pack is still the better deal though, but if I didn't have a huge list of other things to buy for Zero I'd get this 5 pack to do a comparison. Maybe use one as the interior cloths.

Well let's see. I got a free towel EVERY TIME I ordered something. At first, I thought I was getting the hook up. Then I found out that EVERYONE was getting the same thing. So that wasn't it. But they did take me white water rafting, where I fell into the river and almost drowned because I can't swim. So that was what I got for free. I even made a video about it. Is that full disclosure enough for ya'?

Now I have a question for you. Do you notice how other people recommend their products too? Do you think they are getting anything? Maybe, just maybe we have all found a great product for a VERY fair price with free and fast shipping. Since we all love our cars and feel like same minded people also post in the detailing section, we are somewhat compelled to share our good fortune. In life, you don't have to get something in order to give. I will say this though. A forum member happens to live in the same city as I do and asked if he could bring his BMW over and have me advise him on paint care. He did and I found out that he owns a law firm. Well law firms have lots of computers and guess what happened? I picked up a new customer. So by giving freely of my time to the forum, I made money.

This is why I give. I get so much back without asking for anything in the contacts that I make that you couldn't put a monetary value on it. That's what the internet was invented for. The free sharing of information. As a long time member of the IT community, I'm a big contributor to the original purpose of the internet. If you click this link and this one, you will find out that I do this all over the place and it doesn't have anything to do with detailing. I just love sharing what I know and people, young and old appreciate the hell out of it. Hell, I even do it within the community that I live.

Now did I get any kind of kick back for talking to those kids? In a way. It's the same school that Muhammad Ali went to as a kid and I got to meet the champ later that evening. You just can't put a price on that.

I can guarantee you that the Chemical Guy's towels are NOT 70/30 blend. When you get those Eagles, you won't touch your paint anymore with those CG towels.

I see I struck a nerve. Look, my only point is that it's far more credible to be upfront with folks about perks you receive when you are promoting product. It's only fair, even if the product is great.

You two need to stroke some microfiber across your cheek and let the softness of the fine cloth and the knowledge that your face is now free of particles soothe your souls.

You didn't strike a nerve, I just gave you a THOROUGH answer. I have been doing this stuff for years and in my videos, I am ALWAYS up front with everything. If you think that there is something that I am gaining from this, you are 1000% correct. It's just not the materialistic stuff that YOU might be looking for. The friends that I have made doing this far outweighs any material things that I could be given. That's how I roll, as hard as it may be to believe.

I've been posting for about a year and a half now. I know a few members here, some from C&C's, some from the many detail clinics that I've put on and some from the web. I get asked to post on quite a few forums but I only have so much time so I usually limit myself to forums of people who really care about their cars. In other words, you probably won't find me on the Ford Geo Metro forums.
