My production ended 5/13 and I've been waiting since then. I would be good to have someone in the same boat (pun intended) to share info with. I'm in NJ so hoping for a short delivery time once it actually leaves.

Our ED 228i is at Bremerhaven waiting to be loaded on the MV Morning Cara. Morning Cara is scheduled to depart Friday 5/30. I've been told it is scheduled to arrive at Port Hueneme California on June 24.

Mine finished yesterday and is currently at port waiting for a ship. Hopefully we'll be on the same one.

One ship is leaving today called the Toscana

The other one is leaving June 2nd called Independence II...

I hope I'm on the Toscana

Just called and got an update that the automated phone/internet didn't tell me. My car left yesterday on the Toscana with an estimated arrival of 6/10.

Declio the site and phone service aren't yet updated for mine.

However, I went to the Track and Trace site for the shipping company and input my VIN in the cargo ID and it's on the Toscana.

You should try this method.

Yep, this is the first thing I check every day now since I know it is often way ahead of the site/number. However, it's still showing "no record found", so looks like mine is still at the port for some reason.

I think mine was one of the last vehicles to make it on to the ship as I wasn't given any shipping information until the last minute.

Not sure if we are looking at different schedules, but it looks like ships go out tomorrow and Sunday:



I'm hoping to be on tomorrow's (Tirranna). Unless I'm looking in the wrong place?

Edit: I see you were probably looking at NY as a destination port. I think mine would come through Baltimore since I am in the DC/VA area, but I'm not sure about that.

Do you have a link to where you got this shipping information? My 228i is scheduled to leave out of Bremerhaven Friday on the Morning Cara. I'm trying to determine the next port for the ship. It's a Korean shipping company, so I suspect it will make a return trip to Korea, before delivering my car to California on June 24.

I also used the Track and Trace link under the Shipping Tools menu. There you can put the last 6 digits of your VIN in the Cargo ID field. My VIN ends in 56. It wasn't found, so I typed in the last 6 digits incrementing them from 50-57. I saw all of those except mine (56) where shipped out yesterday on the Toscana (If I remember correctly). That ship was heading to New York. I talked to my CA, and he said BMWs from Germany coming to Minnesota come through Baltimore. So I am hoping my car whose production end date was also May 13th will be on todays departing ship, the Tirranna. You need to make sure the ship you see on the schedule is a Vehicle Carrier ship. You can do that using the http://www.marinetraffic.com website to lookup the specific ship you see in the WWL schedule.

I ended up getting loaded on the Tirranna with a destination of Baltimore on 6/8.

So that was 12 days waiting at port total.
