Black painted stock wheels - anyone?

I ordered a MG M235i but hate the colour of the wheels. Instead of getting new rims I was thinking of getting the stock wheels either painted or powder coated. What do you guys reckon?

Also thinking about getting the mirrors painted black... hate the silver

I'd prefer them in black too, and i also ordered a MG M235i, worse comes to worse, you can plasti-dip them, and if you don't like how it looks, just peel it off.

Thanks for the advice. What's plasti-dip? I've heard of priming and spray painting vs powder coating (which would get rid of BMW and ///M logo).

Any idea how I can get the mirror caps painted?

Instead of painting the mirrors, you might want to consider the carbon fiber versions....affordable at $650/set.

Check out dipmycar.com Plastidip was designed for tools, it's similar to a paint, but more like a liquid rubber material that sprays on and hardens, you can get it in lots of colors, there's a lot of matte options, it looks identical to getting something vinyl wrapped. However it does have a shelf life to it, and it can chip or peel after time, in which case you just peel it off and do it again, doesn't take long at all.

Plastidip sounds great! Easy to get and cheap. And to cap it all off... it's reversible! Will definitely get the stuff. Thanks!
