Not sure how you came to this conclusion, especially coming from the genius placement of cup holders on the E9x... especially since you have an Autobox and don't have to worry about hitting your hand when shifting, which i've had zero problems in my F30 with normal sized soft drinks and travel mugs, you just can't get big gulps and expect them to fit.

I agree that the cup holders in the F30 are perfect! Very deep and small diameter. I expect the F22 to be the same, no?

Pretty simple actually—every one of my coffee tumblers is too tall and hits the dash or is so close that it makes it challenging to use. It may be fine for a can of soda, but anything larger will be close to hitting the dash.

Agree or disagree—here's my argument on that front. The 'purest' M guys that have bitched, moaned, groaned over the passing of the S65 will likely find many things to complain about with its replacement. Putting coil overs, upgraded suspension bits, software, and so forth could be a nice middle ground for those that are torn about making the decision. My original statement was more geared towards mixed opinion buyer.

OP, congrats! You made an awesome choice
Both beautiful choices. Also 1 and 2 on my list having decided against MG on coral.

I'm just a little worried that the EB/Tera combo might not work (clash or end up being too soft and not aggressive enough)
What do you think?
I think EB w/ Terra is an awesome choice. I see no reason why they would clash.

I think EB w/ Coral Red would clash more than the Terra but that comes down to personal taste.

I know either combo I go with will be awesome, just can't decide

I'm suppose to be getting an EB dealer demo for a day so I'll make my decision then

When you say exhaust note is nice do you mean outside the car or inside with digital exhaust sound? Thank you.

Good review, congrats! great looking car. good proportions and clean lines.

BMW is going to win a lot of fans with an M2 model. Fender flares, 19" comp rims, M3 suspension bits, etc.

Congrats on the car, and thank you for the pics. It looks superb in Alpine White. I think I know what I'll be doing Summer 2015...

Auto. Pretty righteous for non-DCT. The wife needs to be able to drive the car too.

I was trying to wait for the M3, but I had too many issues with my previous car so I went to BMW to check out what's available.

Then I came upon the M235i! They told me it was the first one in town and after test driving it, I was sold. The car is definitely fun.

This car is AMAZING!!!! I just took delivery of an Estoril Blue M235i w Tech, Premium, & heated seats, 8 speed auto. This vehicle is such a wonderful evolution of my '10 135i, I just love it. Fast as can be, and I'm still at 60 miles

You bought the demo car? Think about how many ppl have driven it hard to get a taste of the new thing, I wouldn't buy it even if there was a huge discount, let alone at full or near full MSRP.

It had 49 miles on it and I REALLY needed to trade my car in....I got 4k below msrp and more for my trade in than what it was worth to me.

It'll get me by until the M3 comes out

Oh well, gotta pay to have it first I guess....

yeah.. for me its hoping not to have to get both the premium pkg and the technology pkgs... as both at once will pump the price right into bmws hands...

the premium pkg also has auto folding mirrors, that right?

can ea. mirror's power folding be initiated individuallly by the driver?

I went and test drove one of these at the dealership just a few minutes ago. Got some exhaust clips. Let me upload them. It sounds REALLY good on rev. I mean REALLY good. Not like a 6cyl turbo at all
