The BMW dealer in Beirut, Lebanon had this M235i...Took some fast iPhone pics.

It looks beautiful in EB2 and the engine sound was great.

Yes, thanks for the pics. Does make me wish the US got the more interesting seating options, though.

I've always reserved blue/yellow/red/orange more so for M cars (I prefer the conservative blacks and grays), but this blue looks fantastic for this car! I may have to consider this color...what do you think for interior? Terra leather and wood trim?

I've tried those seats.

The alcantara surely feels good but the hexagon cloth looks out of place in premium cars like BMW, especially the part inside the doors. I'd probably buy it if that part and the seat's center part was in leather or another much classier fabric.

Matter of taste of course...

i have to see in person but the idea of the car is awesome , id drive it if the lease was cheap but id take the ugly duckling 135 over this for now until i see it

At $43k, I wouldn't call it a premium car these days. I agree with you on the pattern to an extent, but I'd much prefer it than leather or leatherish from a practicality standpoint, despite the acid flaskback design.

At least the front isn't barftastic like the current 1-series. 2-series looks 10x better than the car it is replacing.

Agreed--and the back will be dressed up nicely by a new diffuser I think.

Should be some nice CFRP or faux ones coming soon--that should help a lot.

Can't wait to see it in person and of course drive it.

Looking at these pics, I have no doubts that I'm making the right choice for my build.

Is this the color you picked?

My current E82 is Lemans Blue, so I went with Black Sapphire.
