can i have now..

also i find it funny how they are making red the debut color ala e82 1 series. I would think blue would suit better cause of the blue brakes.

Red car and blue brakes don't really go well IMO

Better headlights and kidney grills than the 4 but still not as aesthetic as the e92

Why? It is actually part of the model designation in this case. I agree it's tacky to have M badges on regular series cars with the M-Sport package, but the M Performance cars deserve to have the badge there.

Well, I for one never liked or grew to like the E92 headlight shape. I love the E46 coupe headlight shape, but not the E46 sedan.

I think this 2 series headlights look better than E92 but not E46 coupe, except of course the LED's rock. That might be a bit of biased nostalgia there, I won't lie.

The real comparison would be to the 1 series though, which I always thought had a kind of odd headlight shape and this is a vast improvement.

Because I am not convinced that this car was not conceived as a 235i to begin with (same with the M135i). I am not saying this won't be a good car, nor am I saying that I am against the concept of the M-Performance cars, I am saying that I don't think M did enough to warrant having their badge on the back.

I agree, Estoril Blue would look better. Not feeling the red, but I'm sure it will look a lot better in person either way

So is this an actual M car? Or if it loses against its Audi/AMG competition will people say "well its not an actual M car". All these models are confusing.

The way I see it, it's an M sub brand, so almost an M car

I strongly disagree, its no M car...just a slightly tuned 235i and an M badge for marketing purposes

BMW is really getting out of hand, just call it a 235i with a M sport package and save the rear boot M badging for a full blown M car not just a few aesthetic parts and a DME re-progam.

Well it's hard to make assumptions at this point without driving it, but if what we all have been reading is true about it being faster than the 1M around the Nurburgring and an LSD being optional, it might just live up to its name.

The M135i has gotten pretty good reviews so far. We shall see...

They're already on the M135i. The distinction between the big 3 Germans is blurring and its such a pity
