No, we are getting double the price surplus, aka mass screaming.
![]() That's why 4 Coupe in Mandarin Chinese sounds like Death Coupe (not that it sounds much better in any other language). german: 4er sounds almost like Führer (firer; aka a certain dictator from the II. World War) italian? serie quattro (quattro is used for a whole book of phrases; abito qui, a quattro passi; quattro gatti; fare quattro chiacchere; fare quattro salti; dirne quattro a qualcuno;.....) Red.... please may you be right.... I'm hoping that the 4-er (and 2-er) will have headlights pulled away from the grill..... in a way it makes sense to differentiate the 3er from 4er in this way... perhaps the idea to connect the grill to the lens in the 3er was a great way to harken in the 4er and its uniqueness apart from the 3er in this visual way

So if production for the F22 begins Nov 2013, I guess it should be available early 2014...
Do any of you recall what was the time span between the F20 was released and the M135? I suppose M235 would be out by end 2014? |

![]() We won't see a 2 series until 2014 MY.. Funny thing is, look at all the people leaving the BMW brand for E46 sized vehicles, elsewhere. My mother included^ (64yrs old), whom passed on the new 3 series for an ATS, soley because of the size & slugish handling of the 3 series. Her words to me were "Seems like BMW tried makign their cars more luxurious, by adding a foot to them all..., I don't need a larger car, or more luxury than my last car." It is true! Point is, BMW is missing the mark & dragging their feet... 2 series should already be out. (CEO should've felt the pulse of the economy and known to fasts-track more efficient & focused cars, over luxurious ones) BMW... who actually needs a larger, bigger car? (think 7 series) Coincidentally, other than BMW, what manufacturer is actively persueing more metal, more resources, for heavier cars? Even Caddilac got ride of the "I'm on a boat" style of cars. We just want a manual, small BMW w/rwd & lsd... guess BMW is not my brand anymore..? I mean, I dropped off $2k @ dealer for 1M coupe and was denied.. explain that to BMW marketing, of why BMW doesn't want my money, then.. to tell me & others to wait 5 years..? I have very little confidence in BMW producing a car that I want before 2015.. might just go pick up a BRZ for a few years until BMW realizes that enjoyment of driving trumps any other reason for buying a BMW... otherwise you can buy a non-BMW.
