Fumoto Oil Drain Valve for M235

Would like to know if anyone has installed a Fumoto valve on their M235. I tried to put on a F109SX but still hangs down below the skid plate and because of the small opening in the skid plate it's very hard to get a hose attached to it.

I tried the F109SX because it has a lower profile than some and the through bolt design makes it movable to whatever position you want to have the nipple pointing.

Would love to know if anyone has found one that will fit without hanging below the skid plate. It would probably be rare to have anything hit it and cause a leak but losing all your engine oil isn't something I'd really like to take a chance on.

thanks

Yikes, I would not drive around with that thing.

Based on my quick research, Fumoto is about as low profile as they get and usually only used for side-exit drains. They fit on the older N55 cars because the trap door had significantly more space.

I looked into installing one and opted not to when I saw the configuration of the drain plug on the car. It forces the valve too low; to much risk of it hitting something and breaking off. I'll deal with a regular drain plug rather than take the chance of killing the engine.
