Manual m235i shifter "drifting" feel
Bmw m235i 2015 6spd manual.
While in gear or under medium to hard throtle, shifter knob is drifting to the right. Shifts into gear fine and no weird noises. While babying the car this does not happen. Anyone have any opinion on what could be causing this. |

The shift knob location relative to you? I vote for replacing the transmission mounts. It's an easy job with a couple floor jacks. I did mine when I installed my short shift kit.

Yes, I can visually see it moving to the right when I accelerate hard and then feel a bump when i let off the gas. I was thinking it might have to do something with transmission or engine mounts… |
