Changing M Sport Suspension to standard
Hi. I have the chance of buying a 2018 2 Series Active Tourer 218i M Sport, but I am concerned by reports of the suspension being too hard.
It is possible to order a new M Sport but with standard suspension. Does anybody have an idea of the rough cost of retrofitting standard suspension to an M Sport? The car I've been offered is so cheap that this might be worthwhile. I don't want to buy a Luxury model as I don't find the seats as comfortable. Thanks. |

I have the msport suspension with factory 18" wheels and run flats, I don't think it's too hard. Try it before you decide what to do.
Ditching the factory run flats for non runflats will make the ride a little softer. Even better if you swap to 16" wheels as Scott is suggesting. |

I have a 218i se ( standard wheels ) I ordered M sport suspension as an option, we find the handling and ride perfect for us
I would definitely do the same thing again, don't worry! Try it first if you're unsure ( standard non run flat tyres ) Bob |

If you really don't like the M sport suspension it can be deleted from a new order , although there is no price reduction
It's around £300 extra as an added option on non M sport cars But.as I previously said I don't think it's too hard a ride at all |
