Lol... I'm guessing car dealerships can be "community centers" as people gather there to buy cars...?

There are plenty of homeowners that set up their garages as polling stations too in CA.
In my city 8 of the 27 polling places were homeowners' garages. |

Yeah maybe it's regional but this doesn't strike me as weird. I voted in someone's garage, a hotel, etc. In fact, one of the companies I interned at in college had a polling location.
