F22 titanium pipe tips for MPE

Anybody seen these in person? I know the polished SS/chrome tips have not gone over well with our group but what you guys think about these titanium gems?

I'm a bit skeptical myself. I want the burnt titanium exhaust look and I plan on doing the process myself, but I don't want to buy these tips only to find out they are chrome and then just have a couple of exhaust tips burnt black.

Just ran a check on our BMW parts system here at work and there is no such thing as Ti exhaust tip. Only carbon fiber and chrome tips exists.

Another thing with titanium ONLY tips is that it tend to fall off. The difference in how the two different types of metal retains heat is the issue here. The Stainless steel exhaust systems tends to expand more than titanium. Therefore, overtime it will start creating gaps and have a higher tendency to fall off.

Also you cannot weld titanium with SS, so that is out of the question as well.

STBMW is a very reputable dealer so I am sure they are not pulling something. Maybe this is leftover discontinued stock or something.....

Those parts don't look like M235i part but M4 M Performance exhaust titanium tips (18 30 2 358 111).

What would be nice is to be sure that those M4 M Performance titanium exhaust tips can be installed with no issue on a M235i M Performance exhaust

Interior perforated tube look nice and it may allow also to install M Performance diffuser without adding tubes for exhaust tips...
