Nope, the 4 series doesn't have it either. I think BMW just got rid of the whole idea.

I always thought it was so the buckle stays where you leave it. Other wise gravity would pull it down when the belt is not in use and you have to go fishing for it.

No, that's what the button #8 and 7 is for.... #9 is so that you can leave some slack in between the buckle and bottom of the belt so it doesn't push into your belly

actually the clamp does work for keeping the buckle up....
Got them at the dealer for $1.42 a piece.... they only had 3 so I'll get another next time |
