A different, faster out of the box car would be a far cheaper and less problematic solution. It will be cheaper then blowing up that $16K motor (not installed) or that $8K automatic (not installed) or that $5K 6MT (not installed). These cars can handle some serious power, but there is a risk. It would be cheaper to go out and buy C6 Z06 and call it a day. Just being honest.
