The M235i is not a M car like the M3/4. It's about halfway there.
From my perspective I'm toying between a used E93 M3 and a new F22 M235i as my next car.
I'm comparing the 2 because IMO they will be about the same price (M3 still a slight premium for an LCI). I'm keen to feel the difference in the handling and drivability of the two. The power delivery of a naturally aspirated V8 against a forced I6. Size and practicality. Can all the power be used and enjoyed on the street?
Ideally I'd love a M2 but I'm not prepared to wait until sometime in 2015.
