BTW, during my commute today on the highway, I switched from comfort to sport and back several times (at about 60 - 65 mph). I'll turn muting off in the ASD ECU in Rheingold and test to see if the loud artificial growl is back.
You really should do the highway test with the cruise control set like orangeglim suggested. That way there's no change in rpm when you switch modes. Much easier to tell for sure if the ASD is disabled.
