disabling ASD
Recent owner of a 2014 235i. I was searching the forums on ways to disable the ASD, and came across 2 options - technicPnP harness and via coding.
However, upon digging into ISTA/D (Rheingold), I saw two other options, which seem much simpler.
1. Per documentation attached, seems like disconnecting any speaker should disable ASD. Several members here have disconnected the center speaker on their HK systems - Have you verified if that disabled ASD?
2. There is a "muting ASD on" option in the ASD ECU in Rheingold. I enabled the option.
Is there an easy way to tell if ASD has been disabled?
