Dang, and I was thinking about going that direction. I don't spend $600 a day on my corvette including track fees, tires, brakes and fluids.
There are several threads on Rennlist about GT3 and Cup operating costs. The lowest estimate I've seen is $900 per HOUR. They range up to five times that for cars in serious competition duty. If you are content to go slow, you can save a lot. I'll burn through tires and brakes twice as fast turning 1:39 at Road Atlanta than I do at 1:45.
