I find the front to be slightly smaller than my M4 as it's a bit narrower. The rear has slightly less leg room but surprisingly more headroom given the rake of the roof. When I have the front seat of a 235i adjusted for me (5'11), there is more than enough room for me directly behind the front seat. That is, 4 average adults is no issue and the folks in the back enjoy more useable headroom versus my M4.
