When I called BMWFS, I gave them the production number, signed an extention letter and that was that. They told me that I could go up to 6 months over my original term, which would be May if I wanted to wait that long...
My guess is that if you have a production number, you could work with your particular dealer on "moving" your spot around in line to meet the time of year that you like best.
But 6 months is the overall limit to extend the lease, at least to my knowledge

Now back on topic...so much for the end of the week and the US order guide!
And I doubt the order guide will be released next wk with the online reveal of the M3/4 on the 12th (not that I'm complaining about the online reveal of the M). I guess those of us here on this subforum are the only ones around who are really interested in the 2er
