Yes, I chose the atmospheric BOV mainly for the sound. Also, I plan to get a tune with higher boost in the near future, so it will be more durable than the stock diverter valve.
The recirculating type sound should be similar to stock I'm guessing. Perhaps shoot an email to Forge for confirmation. If you only want to run higher boost, and you don't want the sound, then I would suggest to get the recirculating type instead.
