Larger wheels tend to take wider lower profile tires, which have more traction and less side to side give. This causes handling to be firmed up and more direct. Shocks will have more damping and more closely control the spring movement and rebound, firming up the ride. If you like more of a luxury feel, stick with the base suspension and wheels.
