The only way I see BMW making a M2 is if the M235i isn't up to par with the CLA45 AMG forcing BMW to make a true M car to compete with an AMG. But if the M235i competes well against the CLA45, I think we can all forget about a M2, I just wouldn't see any reason why BMW would make a M2 with no competitor if the M235i competes well with the CLA and A3.
