As I was reinstalling the tips, however, it turns out that the right pipe on my MPE is more than half an inch shorter than the left, which really pissed me off. I don't know if it was port-installed, or if the previous owner did it themselves, but I don't understand why this would be the case. I didn't notice it when the tips were chrome, but now it bothers the hell out of me.
