orangeglim, it would appear you are correct. I just did what I should have done before I said that and read the manual. I'm sure when I bought the car I knew that, but that was 18 months / 36,000 miles ago. Thank you for the bit of good news!
I was fortunate enough to just get my car in for a last oil change at 35,600 miles. But it was at 800 miles until service due, so it was covered!
