Looking SW along the Rhône Valley towards Martigny with the mountains of the Bernese Oberland across the valley and the Mt.Blanc Massif beyond Martigny. Altitude approx 1200m (4,000ft) with another 300m (1,000ft) to ascend to the village where we were staying. The valley floor from where we've hairpin'd-up is about 400m (1300ft) below. A joy to drive and the sort of road that this car is made for. And four tunnel sections as well ......
