If this helps I came from an '08 e92 335i to a '11 e90 335i M Sport. Definitely preferred the way the e92 handled and the n54 engine was great. Decided to go with a M235 which arrives next week and after test driving the dealer demo (M235i) I can say I think I prefer it to my e92. Perfect size, quite quick, great driving position, sounds great and very solid and balanced feel. This thing is just fun to drive. The M235 gains the extra power thanks to a different steel crankshaft over the standard N55. Test drive one and I think you'll be impressed. |
