Works with any car with OBD since 1996 except a few one-offs from Renault and Mitsubishi from what I know.
Works on my E82, mates F10, dont see how a 2 series is different in any way. It interfaces better and can clear codes etc better than a P3 Vent guage. Also if you setup the app properly, after 600s of no activity on that speficic dongle it will shut itself off.
